72 Hours of Code, Coffee, and Competing with the Pros! 💻✨

72 hours ago, I clicked "submit" on my HAXPLORE project. I had just spent three sleepless days at IIT BHU Codefest building something I'm genuinely proud of.
But here is the most exciting part of the journey: As a Class 7 student, I found myself competing alongside brilliant B.Tech and M.Tech developers. Being the youngest participant in the room was intimidating at first, but it quickly became my biggest motivation.
And no:
- I didn't sleep more than a few hours total.
- I didn't have all the answers going in.
- I didn't know if my idea would work.
Instead, I focused on creating something meaningful. My project? A Smart E-Waste Bin System.
During those 72 hours:
- I learned more than weeks of tutorials could ever teach me.
- I discovered solutions I didn't know existed before this hackathon.
- I pushed through moments when my code refused to cooperate.
- I connected with developers who challenged me to think differently.
- I built something that could actually make a difference for e-waste management.
Now, I'm waiting for the results and my certificate. But honestly? The outcome matters less than the experience. Proving to myself that I can build, adapt, and deliver under pressure—even against seasoned seniors—is the real win.
I’m looking at every new coding challenge with fresh confidence now. 🚀
